Deli Associate

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups - Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions using the Aloha POS system - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment - Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food products - Assist in kitchen duties such as food preparation, cooking, and dishwashing - Help maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies Requirements: - Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with the Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong sales skills and ability to upsell products to customers - Knowledge of kitchen operations and basic food preparation techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds - Understanding of food safety regulations and willingness to follow proper sanitation procedures Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
