Financial Accountant

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance department.
As a leading provider of emergency and specialty veterinary services, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets in Florida and South Carolina.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities Participate in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization Record and manage financial transactions in the accounting system Prepare and analyze financial statements Reconcile and maintain balance sheets Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations Support the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement Assist with the development and implementation of financial processes and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field CPA or relevant certification is required 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or related role Proficient in accounting software such as Quickbooks, Bill.
