We are currently accepting resumes for a *Special Orders Coordinator*.

*Position Summary:* The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting sales consultants and interior designers to ensure all special orders are properly written and ordered.
They will work with vendors to place special orders for clients.
This position is responsible for details of items ordered including fabric, finish, trims, etc.
The Special Orders Coordinator will work with store management and design staff and will be responsible for communicating any problems or concerns.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* * Assumes responsibility for effectively supporting stores with special order process.
* Accurately reviews and audits each special order and submits to appropriate vendor * Maintains contact with store management and business offices on status of order.
* Updates computer system with all updates related to customer’s special order.
* Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective business relations with store management and business office.
* Receives incoming calls and emails.

Answers questions, provides order information and updates records as needed.
* Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management and vendors as well as sales representatives.
* Responsible for initiating all communication regarding special orders to store management and business office.
* Researches any problems and delays in merchandise delivery.
Provides status updates to store management and business office.
* Keeps supervisor informed of area activities and significant problems.
* Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
