To make a long story short, I hired somebody to change out the part you see in the photo that has the arrow pointing at it.
It’s the bottom strip that got rusty that I wanted to replace.
Well, the person abandoned the job because the part he bought for it didn’t fit and he didn’t know how to put the oven door back on.
I’m about as mechanically inclined as a kitten, so there’s no way I know how to put it back on.
The oven and range work perfectly.
I need stuff done to my house, so the stove can be bought outright or we can do a trade in which you do things I need done and I’ll give you the range.
