*Line/Prep Cook*
Pay: $18/hr plus a share of the tips
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Line/Prep Cook to join our young, vibrant team at our locally owned vegan restaurant in the Cypress Lake Dr / McGregor Blvd area of Fort Myers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, fulfilling orders, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, assisting with inventory management, and providing support for front-of-house (FOH) duties when necessary.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
* Fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating ingredients.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
* Assist with front-of-house duties, such as greeting customers, taking orders, or delivering food, when needed.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the kitchen.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds in weight.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
