Currently, we are in search of a certified and dedicated Water Aerobics Instructor to join our team at the Timber Creek Community in Fort Myers, FL.
*Job Description:* As a Water Aerobics Instructor at Timber Creek Community, you will lead water aerobics classes, providing a fun, invigorating, and safe workout for community members of varying ages and fitness levels.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, water activities, and helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct water aerobics classes with energy and enthusiasm, providing modifications to suit different fitness levels.
* Design engaging and effective workout routines to improve cardiovascular health, strength, and flexibility.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, providing clear instructions and monitoring the class environment.
* Maintain and manage equipment and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pool area.
* Stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in water aerobics and fitness to provide the best experience for participants.
* Engage with the community, promoting the benefits of water aerobics and encouraging participation.
*Requirements:*
* Certification in water aerobics instruction or aquatic fitness.
* Additional certification in CPR/First Aid and lifeguarding preferred.
* Proven experience in leading water aerobics or aquatic fitness classes.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
* Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and the ability to recognize and correct form to prevent injuries.
* Strong organizational skills for managing class schedules and maintaining equipment.
* Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to offer classes at times convenient for community members.
*Compensation:*
* Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
