Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Professor, Economics in the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences to join our team of exceptional faculty.

The ideal candidate will: Have earned a doctoral or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Economics (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline) Primarily focus on teaching principles-level Macroeconomics and Microeconomics Express interest in working with diverse populations and be prepared to travel to and teach at multiple remote collegiate high schools Demonstrate ability to teach using multiple instructional methods (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) Have an interest in working with dual enrollment students FSW Employee Benefits feature: Competitive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance options to meet your needs Generous paid time off includes sick, personal, holidays, and winter & spring breaks Florida retirement membership (FRS) Educational and professional development opportunities for you and your dependents Accepting applications through mid-January 2024 for a fall start of August 2024.
Salary Range: $51,207.
89 – $58,762.
46 (for two terms): the maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 10 years of verifiable full-time teaching experience.
Salary will be determined at the hire date.
