For the Vintage Hi-Fi Aficionado- Finding new homes for some vintage audio from my collection.
Technics SA-5560 Receiver - Late 70’s, clean, 85 watts/channel, fully functional.
Nice sound.
I replaced the burned out backlighting bulbs with blue LED’s- Looks great, but easily switched to clear/white bulbs for the original look.
This receiver is a bit wider in size than most components at 19-3/4” in width.
Cosmetics are good but not perfect- some scuffs, and the top of the faceplate has been re-worked.
When I found the unit, there was what appeared to be a social security number engraved into the brushed aluminum, and I did my best to sand/brush it out uniformly across the top.
But finish work is not my forte.
Perhaps you’re better at it, and can make it look new.
Sharp DX-R777 Compact Disc Player - Throwing this in for good measure.
Early 90’s, clean, fully functional, likely from a rack system.
This was a placeholder in my Hi-Fi setup until I found a higher end unit.
I acquired these components second-hand, and I have been through them thoroughly with a good cleaning and minor repairs.
I can demonstrate functionality for you.
I’m open to reasonable offers.
I have other vintage audio equipment for sale- see my other postings.
I’m happy to sell the components separately, or make a deal on the lot.
I may also consider a partial trade for a functional, modern, high-quality AV receiver with lots of inputs and outputs, capable of Dolby Atmos.
