About the role:
This role is for a senior individual contributor in the Research Architecture and Methodologies team within Gartner’s Content Research Excellence organization.
It is focused on implementing and innovating the core processes, systems, guidance, and content architecture that enable Gartner Research & Advisory (R&A) to deliver actionable, objective insights to clients and to support business growth, client engagement and retention.
What you will do: Work with R&A Practices, Product, and IT teams (and other functional areas where applicable) to develop and evolve business requirements that ensure the success of R&A-led strategic content programs.
Deliver innovation and continuous improvement of the research content portfolio, underlying architecture, and related processes in alignment with R&A and Gartner business objectives.
Maintain an excellent understanding of our evolving client needs and the Gartner products to support their journeys using our content and the touchpoints with other channels (inquiry, interactive tools, conference attendance etc.
) Manage the execution of methodologies and content initiatives from identification and ideation, through design and creation, by leveraging best practices - cost management, effective use of resources and feedback in all processes, effective and timely issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
Manage multiple simultaneous programs/projects/workstreams using the latest Project Management tools and techniques.
Work independently, as well as collaboratively, to achieve results: Develop business cases and scope new programs for innovation.
Create and manage success measurement criteria and analysis to drive continuous program improvement to ensure desired outcomes are measured and met.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to communicate status, scope, and prioritize projects; leveraging best practices to effectively manage and facilitate feedback and discussion with senior leaders.
Design and deliver communications and presentations to all levels of management within and beyond R&A.
Guide and matrix manage project teams, coach and mentor project managers and team members for highly effective program management.
Provide leadership and support to peer teams where required.

Excellent reporting, training and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are continuously delivering on purpose and business impact.
What you will need: Solid understanding of the technology industry, major segments, trends and technologies, and common vendors, products and solutions used.
10+ years’ experience independently managing complex content programs, projects, and processes that demonstrate positive business impact within a complex organization.
Demonstrated track record of designing and improving business processes with rigor and attention to detail.
Extensive track record managing content and/or product strategy programs.
Experience working in a complex and fast paced global workforce preferably in Research, Consulting, or Media industries.
Experience in product development, market positioning and delivery of content as a product.
Demonstrated track record for leading change management initiatives.
Design thinking, customer/user experience, and/or market research skills.
An understanding of a variety of research methods and their application.
Technology-centric thinking, understanding how to the use technology (established or emerging, such as AI) to revolutionize and challenge the status quo with proven results.
Experience leveraging data and metrics to understand customers, content, and/or product performance.
Demonstrated adaptability and agility to thrive in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment, effectively responding to macro disruptions.
Proven advanced project management skills in agile environments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of roles and backgrounds across all levels of seniority.
Excellent time management & prioritization skills to effectively manage a diverse workload, multiple non-routine complex projects and deliverables and priorities to meet ambitious deadlines.
Strong business acumen, able to see the big picture, establishing links between different information or ideas, and make complex tradeoffs to optimize outcomes.
High fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
High proficiency in data and analytics strategies with data lead decision-making; presenting consumable data using charts and graphics tailored to the audience.
Executive presence for interacting and presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Potential travel to select Gartner events.
Overall travel less than 10%.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 164,220 USD.
Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
