Registered Nurse - Infusion

Howard Health And Wellness is a Concierge internal medicine practice with a focus on hormone health for men and women.
We are looking for an individual with a great personality, a happy smile, an interest in health and who is willing to learn.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.
You will work directly with and support Dr Howard and the patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
*Responsibilities* * Answer phone calls * Interview patients and document basic medical history * Organize and schedule appointments * Update and file medical records and insurance reports * Arrange hospital admissions if needed * Arrange laboratory and radiology services * Check with patients and type up patients charts * Assist during medical examinations * Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms * Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments * Draw blood for in house lab studies * Perform IV therapy in office * Keep office clean *Skills* * Proven working experience * Knowledge of medical office management systems including EHR (Practice fusion is used) and procedures * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work * Social perceptiveness and service oriented * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational and planning skills * Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software * Registered Nurse (RN) recommended but not required *Additional* * No nights, weekends or holidays * Paid holidays * Will pay 80% of health insurance You MUST have experience in a medical office.
