Registered Dental Assistant

Our private dental practice located in downtown Naples is looking to hire a talented full-time dental assistant to join our team.
Our practice focuses on cosmetic and implant dentistry.
We are a small practice looking for the right candidate who fit in with our team.
The ideal team member would be a team player, personable and eager to learn new skills.
All of our staff work well together and openly communicate and back each other up.
Our new assistant will enjoy helping patients with their oral health and will have a good chair-side manner with patients.
If you are a new graduate, this is fine.
You must have an x-ray certificate.
Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant: * Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures * Greet and prepare patients for treatment * Keep track of outgoing/incoming lab cases * Make preliminary impressions and fabricate custom impression trays * Assist chair side, take x-rays Position Requirements * RDA certification * CPR certification * Strong customer service and communication skills Patient Management * Set up treatment rooms for procedures * Show care and concern, and help patients feel comfortable * Mix dental materials * Ensure patients questions are answered thoroughly before they leave * Communicate to team Treatment room management and sterilization * Keep dental units ready, stocked, and clean * Oversee cleanliness of the treatment room according to sterilization * Disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA regulations * Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized * Promptly send out and monitor all dental laboratories cases including charges * Implement the preventative maintenance/cleaning schedule for schedule for dental equipment * Maintain dental office emergency kits and nitrous and oxygen tanks Office Participation * Help in other areas of the office when necessary (i.

, answering phones, unpacking supplies, etc.
