Overview
The IT Coordinator will work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, all staff, and students to support teaching, learning and productivity to impact student achievement.
This position will facilitate and manage peripheral technology and applications and facilitate support and training for faculty so that every teacher can deliver multi-sensory, accessible, educational technology integrated lessons,
Job Responsibilities:
Effectively develop educational technology plans, initiatives, tools and programs into the school's learning environment.
Instruct both teaching staff, students support staff and administrators in the use of technology-based learning tools and assessments.
Work with teams to support, train and assist in managing School Information systems, website, portals, etc.
Oversee management of all entity email, google workplace, printers, internet providers and servers.
On a day-to-day basis assess teachers and student's educational needs and match those needs with appropriate technologies and support.
Manage outside vendors
Develop and be responsible for entire technology budget
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
BS in technology related major
3-5 years of experience in a busy, demanding and ever-changing environment; experience in education a plus.
Excellent problem solving skills, research skills and planning skills.
Outstanding communications skills both written and oral
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products, Apple Ipads, PCs educational software and Internet Safety.
Ability to grown and thrive in a team-based environment
Technology savvy, thirst continue to look for ways to better communicate through technology
Knowledge of streaming audio, video, podcasting and social networking tools.
