Who are we looking for in a Medical Assistant?
The ideal Medical Assistant candidate is positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and can multi-task.
The Float MA is responsible for assisting multiple providers with patient visits, including consultative and surgical procedures traveling between Fort Myers and Naples.
Medical Assistant Primary Duties:
Assisting our Provider’s in delivering quality care to patients
Providing side by side assistance with surgical procedures
Reviewing patient’s medical history
Maintaining notes in our EMR system
Obtaining appropriate consents
Calling in prescriptions
Performing patient call backs
Medical Assistant/ LPN Skills and Qualities:
Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers
Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider’s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice
Proficient communication skills (written and verbal)
Flexible hours
Ability to travel between two locations

Experience and Education:
Preferred Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) License, or LPN
Preferred Hands-on experience in a clinical setting, willing to train the right candidate
Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred, not required
