Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bilingual Property Manager to oversee operations of our Rent to Own/Rental portfolio.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our Rent to Own/Rental properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a background in property management.
Responsibilities:
-Performs all leasing activities in person to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects face-to-face, conducting property tours and showing properties, processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth tenant move-in and Rent to Own/Rent lease signing
-Inspects property prior to resident move-in and ensures property is in move-in ready condition and meets the Company's standards.
-Effectively monitor all income, including delinquencies and post corresponding notices, and coordinate evictions as needed.
-Monitor the timely receipt and reconciliation of rent collections
-Schedules any outstanding item to be addressed with the maintenance team.
-Stays informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the properties occupancy and leasing results.
-Follow-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction by sending e-mails, or making telephone calls or other contacts to finalize decisions to Rent to Own/Rent lease and/or renew.
-Executes and performs activities in support of the property's Rent to Own/Rent program and lease renewals ensuring that tenants are qualified to purchase and or lease renewal documents are signed and implemented on time.
-Responds quickly and courteously to tenants concerns and questions and takes prompt action to solve problems and/or documents and convey tenants or other requests to the appropriate individual(s).
-Completes various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
-Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position.
-Other tasks or duties may be assigned by the supervisor
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (Bilingual is required)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in property management, including overseeing maintenance and repairs
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations
Computer Skills:
-Ability to operate and understand personal computer functions and ability to learn company-utilized software
