Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part Time Leasing Consultant.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and amenities of each unit
- Respond to inquiries regarding rental availability, lease terms, and application process
- Utilize Yardi or similar software to manage leasing activities and maintain accurate records
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately
- Collect and process rental applications, including conducting background checks and verifying references
- Coordinate move-in/move-out procedures, including conducting unit inspections
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to secure lease agreements with prospective tenants
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests and work orders
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries professionally
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport with tenants
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in leasing or customer service.
- Familiarity with Facilities Management concepts is a plus
- Knowledge of property management software is beneficial
- Understanding of contract terms and lease agreements
