Mortgage Loan Processor

Responsibilities: - Review loan applications and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate and in compliance with all state and federal regulations - Analyze credit reports, income statements, and other financial documents to determine loan eligibility - Verify borrower information and employment history - Calculate debt-to-income ratios and assess creditworthiness - Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws - Prepare loan packages for submission to underwriting - Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and other parties involved in the loan process Skills: -At least 3 years of experience administering and/or processing mortgages (no exceptions) -Understanding of credit analysis and underwriting principles - Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws - Proficiency in math, including basic math skills and 10-key typing - Familiarity with banking procedures and financial services - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously Note: This position does allow for remote work however candidate must be local and available for in office work or meetings from time to time.
Hours are flexible however correspondence with clients must be done during business hours.
