SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Manager is responsible for marketing, leasing, and pre-leasing of rental units for the assigned apartment community in compliance with applicable regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the leasing team in all aspects of the leasing process including, but not limited to: Application processing, Paperwork processing, Pre-move in apartment inspections, Resident Retention activities, Lease Renewal process
Train & directs the work performance of the leasing team
Establishes & coordinates scheduling for leasing staff
Maintains daily traffic logs, phone logs & follow-up
Signs & explains leases & applications in detail
Assumes complete knowledge of the apartment community & competition in the area
Works with Property Manager on the advertising & marketing plan for the property

Incumbent(s) may be
EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and college coursework or training in Property Management required; Associate’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:
At least two year’s prior property management experience required.
Luxury Lease-up experience strongly preferred.
Skills and Certifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook and Property Management software (e.
g.
, Yardi).
Detail oriented with excellent communication, organizational and analytical/problem solving skills.
Ability to operate various types of office equipment, i.
e.
computers, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, facsimile machines.
Working Knowledge of luxury leasing and lease-up policies and procedures.
Candidates with experience using Yardi property management software are preferred.
