*IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS!!!*
South-Florida based management company is looking for a skilled, dedicated, highly motivated, task orientated Maintenance Technician for apartment community in Opa-Locka, FL.
Applicant must have strong customer service and excellent communication skills.
Experience with property rehab and repositioning is a plus.
Other requirements include:
\* HS Diploma
\* EPA 608 Cert.
\* Electrical Proficiency
\* Plumbing Proficiency
\* Extensive HVAC knowledge
\* Small appliance repair Proficiency (stoves, microwaves, W&D, freezer etc.
)
\* Welding / Brazing skills a plus
\*Must have own tools
\* Must speak English
\* Must have reliable transportation
\* Pass criminal background check and drug screening
\*Available to work weekends if necessary and on-call schedule
*Scope of Work*
\* Making units rent ready after move outs.
\* Painting and repairs
\* Unit clean-up
\* Evaporator coil and condensing unit replacements
\* HVAC repairs and diagnostics
\* General site and building maintenance
\* All aspects of electrical and plumbing
\* Maintaining maintenance schedule
\* Implementing maintenance strategies
\* Maintain operational department costs
\* Supervision of staff member(s)
\* Assist with planning and execution of assigned projects
\* Flooring repairs and replacements
Construction experience a plus however; not required.
Prior Apartment community maintenance experience required.
Preferred applicant will have the ability to manage and/or direct department costs and interject cost saving measures into daily maintenance operations.
Applicant must be customer service orientated with a drive for excellence.
Schedule would consist of a 40hr work week from M-F 8am-5pm.
Must be available for emergencies and a rotating on call schedule.
