Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for proper use and operations of crew trucks, trailers, tools, & job site at all times
Review shop drawings and site plans with Project Manager and complete pre-job walkthrough with Project Manager or Estimator.
Track and review crew members timesheets weekly for accurate reporting, resolve any issues and ensure prompt submission by the deadline
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times
Work alongside crews to install quality roofing systems
Maintain professional and consistent communication with customers, supervisors, and co-workers
Pre-plan for the next day of work, including responding to any needs based upon weather
Coordinate with Operations Manager and/or Warehouse Staff to manage trailer, inventory and re-stock weekly
Complete daily reports using Buildertrend
Required Education, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient math skills for calculating building areas, lengths, and height accurately using a 25’ tape measure
Motivated leader, able to enforce standards and maintain good working relationships with the team
Hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License
OSHA 10-hour training (minimum)
3+ years experience as a foreman
10 or more years roofing experience
GED or Highschool Diploma
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
Willing to travel
Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater
Frequent bending, kneeling, walking
Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day)
Overtime and weekend work
