- Performs duties to maintain passivation and other production equipment inluding A/C maintenance repair
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Performs simple duties to ensure that production’s machines and equipment are operating
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments
- Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment
- Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Order parts and maintain required documents
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
- Prior manufacturing experience: hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and industrial skills
- Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance Background
- Prior experience in A/C and machinary maintenance and repair
Education and/or Experience preferred
- Associate’s Degree
- 3 to 5 years of prior experience
