*Top Room Tech - Job Description* *Department:* Operations *Position:* Top Room Tech *Classification:* Hourly *Supervisor:* Top Room Foreman *Top Room Tech* We are looking for a Top Room Tech to cut, fabricate and heat seal at our facilities.
You will operate appropriate equipment to put together canopies with a great deal of precision.
Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure.
A manufacturer must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions.
The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail.
*Responsibilities* * Lays out and measures canvas and assembles material into boat lift canopy covers.
* Connects sections of material together on power sealing machine.
* Installs grommets using powered grommet machine.
* Package the finished canvas into a canvas cover *Requirements* * Experience using a variety of equipment including measuring tapes * Attention to detail and the ability to learn and accept training and direction.
* Proficient in English * Ability to work in the heat.
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Ability to move in a fast-paced manner Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
