Extreme is a diversified fast-growing company that wants to find an individual that has construction & remedial paint estimating experience and strong computer take-off skills.
Primary responsibilities include estimating of painting, waterproofing, & floor coating for new construction and remedial paint projects.
Your estimating responsibilities will require a strong understanding of construction documents and the bidding procedure.
The estimating role is primarily office based although it will require attendance at the occasional pre-bid or job site to review and qualify conditions.
Responsibilities Include: Download plans and respond to bid inquiries.
Review bid documents and identify scope.
Complete online take-offs Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers.
Draft RFI’s and do pre-construction qualifications.
Assemble price proposals.
Draft Scope narratives.
Qualifications Include: Minimum 3 years full time experience.
Ability to read plans and specifications.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to effectively communicate AND work with other team members.
Proficiency in Online take-off programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Understanding of key players in the SWFL market.
