Flatwork Job Description
The jobs will range from new residential to commercial to tear out and replace.
Outdoor work.
Length of workday: 8-10 hours.
Number of days per week: 5-6.
*Laborers*
* Preferred driver’s license
* no experience necessary
* Drive trucks, pull trailers.
* Operate skid loader- non-necessity.
* Need general carpentry skills.
* Set and strip form boards.
* Keep trucks and jobsites clean.
* General daily duties: load trucks with daily necessities, set form boards, grade projects, pour concrete, drag, and flatten concrete.

Place fill, grade and compact.
*Finisher*
* Must be able and willing to do any of the laborer’s jobs.
* Place concrete, strike/screed, finish by hand and or by power trowel.
*Crew foreman*
* Must be willing and able to do any of the crew’s job.
* Read a print, set heights and elevations.
* Need good communications skills.
* Meet with homeowners /builders.
* Set up concrete and inspections.
* Keep the crew moving efficiently and mistake free.
* Makes safety a priority:

* Promote good habits for wearing PPE
* Performing tasks / duties that promote injury avoidance by using proper techniques.
