_*Our Client *_is a rapidly expanding, family-owned business that is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance/Compliance Manager who will own the quality management process and serve as a key player on the Our Client’s leadership team.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: This position will be responsible but not limited to:
· Develops and administers Client's food safety regulations, policies and procedures.
· Develops, implements, and enforces security and food safety standards, policies and programs including HACCP, SQF, Preventative Controls.
· Manage regulatory audits, food safety training programs, standard operating procedures (SOP’S) product inspections, etc.
· Monitor and control the production processes from raw ingredient intake through to packaging of finished products.
· Ensures all processing meets rigorous standards of quality and hygiene.
· Develop and execute health and safety plans in workforces within legal guidelines.
· Evaluates practices, procedures and facilities to access risks and implements corrective actions.
*Competencies & Qualifications:*
· Previous Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
· Certified HACCP and SQF training and experience highly preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or similar technical field including at least 3 years working with manufacturing operations is a must with knowledge and application of concentrate and beverage base manufacturing processes.
· Knowledge of food packaging principles, food industry quality and food safety requirements.
· Experience development, implementation, training and administration of quality processes, GMP, SQF, HACCP, FDA, Kosher or other regulatory or industry certification program development and administration.
· Well versed in the compliance & quality requirements of SQF (or GFSI) and GMPs and have demonstrated strength in problem solving and resolution.
* Must possess the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement, as well as the ability to analyze business processes and develop systems-based solutions that will improve current state.
* Knowledge of data in the Formula Management System, including reasonable value ranges and calculations origin, and the ability to recognize inconsistencies is needed.
* Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply these principles, tools, and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion is needed.
* Experience with implementation and oversight of environmental and safety management systems such as ISO14000/18000 is needed.
· BS degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or related field required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.
