Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Location: Naples/ Ft Myers
Compensation: $16.
00 to $21.

Summary:
Southwest Plumbing Services Inc.
is currently looking for a Plumber’s Apprentice to work in the field in the Naples or Ft.
Myers area.

What you will be doing:
· Properly use and care for SW Plumbing’s tools, vehicles, and equipment including rentals as you are instructed
· Maintain positive relationships with all SWP field employees, customers /construction managers, inspectors, and other tradesman.
· Must be motivated to work.
· Must work in a safe and clean environment and follow all job clean up requirements as required.
· Communicate any job related concerns to your SW Plumbing foreman /supervisor
· Report any injury immediately to your SW Plumbing foreman / supervisor.
· Must have basic hand tools.
More tools will be required as you ascend through the on-the-job training program.
Tools are essential to the trade and MUST be part of your regular purchases.
What you will need:
· High School Diploma and/or GED and must participate in on-the-job trainings and safety meetings.
· Some experience with tools, construction materials, and plumbing systems is beneficial.
· Must be able to work in a construction environment in South Florida year round.
· Must wear proper and required construction clothing, shoes, protective wear as per company and/or specific job site policy.
· The position has physical elements/requirements, such as lifting, repetitive bending/reaching, climbing ladders and operating tools and machines that are “essential” to the job.
· Must be physically fit and prepared for extended periods of physical labor.
Hand Excavation, hand Demolition as well as power and pneumatic tool assisted.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
10 to 15 times per shift.
· Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is a major plus but not required for some locations.
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must make it to work on a consistent basis
· Requires basic math and reading skills.
