Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief.
The position is full time and is responsible for developing construction related skills according to the Construction Site Supervisor Trainee matrix.

Essential Functions
Responsible for working towards developing professionally following the site supervisor trainee training matrix ( project schedule based on progress, targets and deliverables).
Adheres to an agreed set of safety and quality standards and ensures these standards are maintained.
Supports the Construction Site Coordinator and Construction Site Supervisor with Salesforce tracking and completing site diary and site logs.
Supports the construction team in planning the work flow on construction sites.
Together with the staff holds daily morning meetings on site to explain and divide the work for a day.
Oversee certain tasks on construction sites.
Lead and direct the work of individual teams of volunteers and masons.
Holds bi-weekly skill matrix updates with PM and CSC to accurately track progress.
Supports the staff to implement Team Leader’s training and attends regular Team Leaders meetings and local workers meetings.
We have decided to relax the requirement for Covid-19 vaccination for on program staff.
While we still strongly recommend Covid-19 vaccination, along with other standard and travel immunizations as recommended by the CDC and WHO, Covid-19 vacation will no longer be required

Position Requirements
Education High School diploma or equivalent
Related Experience A minimum of 2 months volunteer experience and 1 month Team Leader and/or Site Manager All Hands and Hearts experience preferred.
Special Competencies/Certifications Valid driver’s license.
Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office.
Applicants need to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately.
The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.
