UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Associate to join our family.
As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be working as a team to ensure that all customer orders are picked and packed in a timely and orderly manner.
When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts.
Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week.
We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you'll be doing:
Process orders.
Review order notes to determine parcel carrier and additional handling requirements.
Accurately pick orders.
Utilize picking sheets and vehicle inventory adjustment forms (VIAF) to determine bin location, quantities requested and to identify the correct customer order.
Verify all items picked are correct by confirming part numbers, product descriptions, and quantities by following the same information on the sheet and/or VIAF.
Prepare orders for shipment.
Select appropriate shipping carton and securely pack to minimize damage during shipment.
Maintain assigned aisle and product stacks.
Remove all empty boxes, strapping, plastic, debris, etc.
Sweep assigned aisle daily.
Follow Current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP).
Perform other duties as described by leadership.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school education and/or GED equivalent.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate machinery.
At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
Ability to work well with others in the workplace.
Must be detail-orientated.
Capacity to follow directions by leadership.
Ability to stand throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
