*Qualifications*
* Minimum of 5 years in the maintenance field.
* General experience with industrial machinery and mechanical equipment and ability to perform preventative maintenance, repairs and, add installation operations as assigned.
* Must have electrical, welding, mechanical and plumbing training/experience.
* Ability to make electrical diagnosis and repairs.
* Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
* Must have a valid driver’s license.
*Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):*
The Plant Maintenance Mechanic will ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a clean and safe work environment.
They will be responsible for:
* Diagnostics, repair and replacement of industrial equipment and machinery.
* Completing paperwork
* Communicating any maintenance that needs completed to management.
* Performing a wide range of duties within the plant as necessary and must be willing to help wherever needed.
* Might need to respond to emergencies outside of normal business hours as needed and work overtime.
* Ability to work in varying weather conditions, in dust and noisy areas.
Areas may be hazardous around trucks and machinery.
* Substantial walking, bending, stooping, lifting, or working in awkward or strained positions required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,100.
