Has an eye for detail and knowledge of technology.
Likes setting up and maintaining ordering systems, processes, and follow through, and keeping an eye on the budget for the project while also keeping up with the latest trends in new construction homes.
Ability to walk the properties and meet with the team and vendors to do a scope of work.
A good majority of the time will be in the office working on working with the team on scheduling deliveries.
Needs to be willing to pick up materials if needed from Home Depot or meet with a team to go over choices.
A plus would be knowledge of cabinet design and CAD.
Compensation:
$35,000 - $45,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Planning and scheduling, including determining how to get a project completed as efficiently as possible by having the correct materials on site before needed
Estimating the costs of materials, labor, and equipment for a project
Quality control and quality assurance including regular site inspections
Coordinating the creation of documents including sketches and drafts
Monitoring the project budget and spending
Overseeing logistics and transportation of materials
Ordering construction materials and setting up delivery of items
Consulting with the designer and project manager
Some design experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills
Assist in some design choices/finishes for homes
Good with technology
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of design experience preferred
Knowledge of design software
Team player
Basic construction technology knowledge
Effective communication skills
Ability to effectively plan out a timeline for construction using a Gantt chart
Self-motivated
