Requirements Experience within the residential and commercial painting industry Ability to recruit and train painters using the Fresh Coat system and processes Ability to recruit and train estimators Ability to network effectively in the market to build client base and referrals Successfully lead a team on a project Delivering a quality experience for customers Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work Insure the profitability of each project Ability to properly prepare and present proposals to customers in accordance with the Fresh Coat Standards Understand and implement the Brand concepts of Accountability, Communication, and Transparency Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus EPA/RRP Certification OSHA 10 Certification About the Role This role is for a General Manager of Fresh Coat Painters Englewood/Punta Gorda.
As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the painting company.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing accounting and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations, recruiting and training painters and estimators, networking to expand the client base, leading project teams, and delivering quality experiences for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities Manage accounting and administrative tasks to support the operations of the painting company Recruit and train painters and estimators using the Fresh Coat system and processes Network effectively in the market to build a solid client base and generate referrals Lead and motivate project teams to successfully complete painting projects Deliver a quality experience for customers through superior workmanship and excellent customer service Meet project deadlines without compromising the quality of the work Ensure the profitability of each project Properly prepare and present proposals to customers following Fresh Coat Standards Implement and uphold the Brand concepts of Accountability, Communication, and Transparency Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus Hold EPA/RRP Certification for handling lead-based paint Possess OSHA 10 Certification for maintaining a safe work environment Qualifications Proven experience within the residential and commercial painting industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively recruit, train, and motivate a team Excellent networking skills to attract clients and generate referrals Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality Sound understanding of accounting and financial management principles Proficient in preparing and presenting proposals to customers Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and profitability If you possess the necessary qualifications and have a passion for the painting industry, we would love to hear from you.
