The Role
OWL Services is searching for highly motivated people interested in being taught a trade in the Underground Storage Tank (UST) compliance testing industry.
Eventually working toward advancement within the company to become a foreman and managing a work crew.
Our AccuMeasure Field Technicians are testing and calibrating meters on jobsites in the field.
Technicians make minor repairs to fueling systems and compile reports that are submitted to the Department of Agriculture & our clients.
We encourage people who have a mechanical aptitude and are willing to travel throughout the United States to apply for this position.
We offer full training to operate a unit on your own and become licensed (per state, if necessary).
After training, you will work independently in the field, resulting in some freedom and control over the work you are completing.
This position is best suited for people who are motivated, honest, and accountable.
The salary range for this position is $17/hr.

Responsibilities
Included but not limited to:
Perform precision meter calibration services for our retail petroleum customers and minor maintenance on these systems.
Assisting the foreman with equipment set up.
Site preparation.
Meter calibrations.
Minor gas station maintenance.
Driving a company-owned motor vehicle (CDL not required)
Qualifications
Must have a mechanical background along with a history of working with hand tools, experience in trades, and/or experience in any industrial/commercial settings a plus.
Can lift 10-50lbs as well as frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing.
Ability to work independently and communicate well.
Knowledge of applicable laws, safety, and technical protocols a plus.
Basic knowledge of technology – tablet/phone/computer – for documentation.
Must be willing to travel in a multi-state area, in some cases being away from home days/weeks (hotels and a generous per diem is provided).
Must be able to pass a company paid DOT physical & drug screen and possess a clean driving record.
