Position Overview: We are a rapidly growing public adjusting firm focusing on commercial and residential property claims.
We are seeking a Document Control Specialist to join our team.
The Document Control Specialist will help ensure the accuracy of records and work closely with other teammates and insurance carriers.
Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.

* Regulate the preparation, review, approval, release, distribution, change, access, and storage of all documents about a client’s claim * Process document changes, ensure electronic capture and retrieval of quality documents and records by reviewing, evaluating, and processing changes accurately and promptly.
* Understands and follows acceptable documentation practices.
* Ensure document control compliance as per company standards and other regulations.
* Assist in tracking receivables and client payments with the Accounts Receivable team * Assists in the continuous improvement efforts for document control.
* Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth handling of the claim * Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications * Must exhibit a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe (2 Years required).
* 2+ years’ experience in construction/insurance restoration industry with knowledge of industry policies and procedures preferred.
* Ability to review Xactimate estimates.
* Knowledge of customer relationship management software (preferred) * Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices.
* Attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and a keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information.
* Positive attitude, self-motivator and tenacious follow up.
* Professional demeanor and appearance.
* Excellent telephone skills.
* Strong analytical, quantitative, time management, and multi-tasking skills while operating with a high sense of urgency.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills allow you to communicate effectively with sales team members, builders, homeowners, and subcontractors.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of construction and the components that makeup building a structure (preferred) * Representing the Company, interfacing, and building relationships with clients.
* Strong work ethic.
* Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* Know how to be a team player.
* Ability to work autonomously to perform all essential duties.
* Must possess values consistent with Company: honesty, integrity, motivated self-starter, and willingness to work hard.
* High School Diploma or GED Experience: * Document Control: 2 years (Preferred) * Construction/Insurance Industry: 2 years (Preferred) Work authorization: United States (Required) Schedule: * Monday to Friday, 8 AM-5 PM * Weekends, as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.
00 - $50,000.
