HVAC Installer Trainer for Residential New Construction Ft Myers

Job Summary: Residential HVAC Trainer is responsible for the hands-on residential HVAC installer training program.
Works with new hires during training to provide hands on instruction, administer testing and teach company and industry practices to meet code requirements.
Be a mentor to share trade knowledge to grow the next generation of tradesmen.
Duties/ Responsibilities: Lead, monitor, motivate and oversee their trainees to meet productivity and quality standards.
Ensure work is being installed according to local and national codes.
Order materials as needed to complete assigned work.
Complete payroll daily for each member.
Consistently check for code compliance.
All other position duties as assigned by management.
Required skills / Abilities: Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
Possess knowledge of the current code requirements.
Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and blueprints.
Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
Excellent presentation skills, with demonstrated proficiency in presenting information clearly and effectively in both oral and written communication.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines and goals.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Computer literacy skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR report.
Education/ Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume residential new construction environment.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
