Utility Locator

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Utility Line Locator to join our team.
As a Utility Line Locator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and marking underground utility lines to prevent damage during excavation projects.
Responsibilities: - Conduct utility locating services using specialized equipment and techniques - Identify and mark the location of underground utilities such as gas, electric, telecommunications, and water lines - Interpret utility maps and records to determine the presence of underground lines - Utilize land surveying tools to accurately mark the location of utilities for construction projects - Coordinate with construction crews to ensure safe excavation practices - Perform field service duties related to utility locating tasks - Operate a GPR accuratley - Read and interpret blueprints to understand utility layouts - Maintain accurate records of located utilities and completed work Experience: - Previous experience in utility locating or related field service roles is preferred - Proficiency in land surveying techniques and equipment operation - Familiarity with blueprint reading for utility line identification - Knowledge of cabling systems and underground utilities Join our team as a Utility Line Locator and contribute to the safety and efficiency of construction projects by accurately identifying underground utilities.
