The Accounting Clerk will process a variety of invoices for accounts payables, and perform a variety of administrative functions to support the accounting Team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Payroll
Weekly processing of payroll
Enters Data for weekly payroll processing
Preparing Certified Payroll Reports
Additions and changes to payroll (salary, benefits, tax withholding, terminations)
Communicating payroll matters to employees
Provide employee wage verification to external sources as neededReconcile benefit statements with payroll deductions
Accounts Payable
Process and review invoices for appropriate approval and coding
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Sales & Use Tax Tracking
Track company credit card charges and reconcile statements
Prepare Weekly Check Runs
Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and 2-3 years of payroll and accounts payable experience.
Construction Industry experience , Certified Payroll experience
Competencies:
Administrative skills and experience.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Personal computer skills, strong typing ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
Work Environment
This job operates in both an office and a field environment.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
