Bonness, a local, civil site development company is looking to add an Estimator to their estimating team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Communicate effectively within the team and across departments
Maintain positive client, subcontractor, and vendor relations
Analyze bid specs, schematics, and drawings
Prepare accurate project estimates/packages
Assist Operations with scheduling, layout, change orders and project closeouts
Track progress of multiple bids and results
Deliver precise estimates/bid proposals
Be willing to do some local traveling to review bids and inspect current conditions at job sites
Some college-level construction management study preferred
Knowledge of earthwork, utilities, concrete, and asphalt preferred.
Must possess strong verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
Valid Driver’s License Required
