Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our team.
As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then develop innovative designs that bring their vision to life.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their landscaping requirements and preferences
- Conduct site visits to assess the existing landscape and gather necessary information
- Develop detailed landscape plans, including hardscape and softscape elements
- Create 2D or 3D illustrations of proposed designs
- Select appropriate plant species, materials, and colors for each project
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure successful implementation of designs
- Provide guidance on plant care, maintenance, and ongoing landscape management
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in landscape design
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Designer or similar role
- Proven experience in selling landscape design
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in using design software
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of land surveying techniques is preferred but not required
Requirements:
- Experience Landscape Architecture
- Strong artistic ability with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience/knowledge in horticulture, sod, pavers, irrigation, lighting, outdoor kitchens, pools
- Strong organizational skills to manage project timelines and deliverables
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and project requirements
