Job Summary: As an Electrical Tech, you will work under the supervision of an experienced electrician to learn and gain practical experience in the electrical trade.
You will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings while receiving on-the-job training and instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist electricians in installing and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand the layout and configuration of electrical systems.
Assist with the layout and installation of electrical conduits, cables, and wiring according to specifications.
Perform basic electrical tasks such as drilling holes, running wires, and connecting components under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Learn to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
Attend training sessions and classes to expand your knowledge and skills in the electrical trade.
Install and maintain Lighting Fixtures
Install Linear Lighting in detailed and intricate installs for custom projects
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED
Interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and climbing.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
