The Boat House of Port Charlotte Service Department is looking for an experienced Marine technician to join the team!
All Candidates are REQUIRED to have previous Marine Engines & Boat Repair Experience in a marine dealership environment.
We offer a better than competitive package with the potential to earn $60-80K for certified technicians.
Master technicians can expect 90K +.
Still working towards your Master Certification? The Boat House will help you achieve that level while paying better than competitive wages.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance of marine systems.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats, yachts, and other watercraft.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel to different locations for on-site services.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
We are not willing to entertain any candidate who has not spent at least 3 years in a service and repair department for this role.
