Location: Punta Gorda - 141 (Punta Gorda, FL) Summary: Dump Truck Operators ensure the timely delivery of material in a safe and courteous manner.
Operator will load and distribute material based on a customer’s specifications.
Benefits: Paid time off (after one year of employment) 7 Paid holidays (from day one) Overtime configured daily Match up to $60/week for 401k Guaranteed every other Saturday off Low-cost Health, Vision and Dental Insurance Short and Long-term disability Saturday Bonus Pay Referral Program No top outs on pay Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct your work safety Deliver material to the jobsite within assigned timeframe Operate truck to assist in distributing material Provide outstanding customer service Ensure completion of required paperwork prior to dumping material Always keep truck clean and presentable Return to quarry at a timely manner to receive next load Possess a “GO-GETTER” mentality Must be willing to switch between departments Aggregate & Tanker Qualifications: Must have Class A CDL Good driving record (MVR Requested) Submit for a criminal background check Clear Drug/Alcohol Clearinghouse Pass a DOT drug screen (pre-screen) Current DOT Medical Card No felony convictions within the past ten years No unexplained gaps in employment 1 year manual & automatic expiriance License must have no restriction Working Conditions: · Monday – Saturday schedule (with every other weekend off) · Shifts will be flexible (morning, mid-day, and night) · Overtime is expected · Expect to work outdoors in elements Physical Requirements: Able to lift/carry 50lbs regularly Able to walk up and down ladders/stairs regularly Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to perform preventive maintenance on the trucks (greasing and cleaning)
